Originally from the Boston area, Dino Monoxelos has been a professional bass player since he graduated high school (quite some time ago). He s an endorsing artist for Dean Markley strings. He s toured with a number of different artists and bands all over the world. He is a graduate of Musicians Institute and has studied with the likes of Steve Bailey, Gary Willis, Bob Magnusson, Jeff Berlin, Tim Bogert, Jim Lacefield, and Todd Johnson to name just a few. After graduating from MI, Dino began teaching there where he developed his own teaching and playing skills. After seven years of playing and teaching in Los Angeles, Dino has since moved back to his hometown of Boston, MA where he lives with his wife Rachel and daughter Samantha. He maintains a very busy playing and teaching schedule and still continues to study bass with the great Bruce Gertz.
